The official ceremony on the occasion of awarding the title of Honorary Professor of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University to Professor Jan Borm at the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France)

On 5 December, 2022, an official ceremony was held at the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (France) to celebrate the awarding of the title of Honorary Professor of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University to Professor Jan Borm. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Professor Alain Bui, Vice-President in charge of International Relations of the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Professor Jan Borm, Head of the Department of Innovation and International Relations of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Psychology, Associate Professor Iryna Kohut and Head of the Department of English and German Philology of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Associate Professor Maryna Zuyenko.

The academic representatives of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University brough the warmest greetings and congratulations to Professor Jan Borm from the Rector of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Pedagogical Education Maryna Grynova. 

On behalf of the Rector’s office, the academic representatives of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University presented Professor Jan Borm with the Diploma of Honorary Professor of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University and the regalia. The ceremony was held with the support of the Vice-Rector for Research of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogy, Doctor of Sciences in Theology, Professor Vasyl Fazan and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, Doctor of Pedagogy, Associate Professor Oksana Kyrylchuk.

Friendly greetings and a souvenir from the Rector of Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University Professor Maryna Grynova were presented to the President of the University of Versailles-Saint-Cantin-en-Yvelines Professor Alain Bui.

The productive cooperation with Professor Jan Borm, a recognized expert in the field of British travel literature, became possible with the initiative and efforts of the Associate Professor of the Department of English and German Philology of the Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Philology Tetyana Lunyova.
